This policy explains what personal information PranDhyan collects through
www.prandhyan.org, why it is collected, and what happens to it.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form or
the seminar application form, we receive the details you enter: your name,
email address, telephone number, city where given, which seminar you are
interested in, and your message. Nothing else is required to use this site.
Information collected automatically. Our web server keeps
standard access logs  IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the
time of the request. These are generated by the hosting provider for security
and diagnostics.
Cookies. This site does not use advertising or tracking
cookies. WordPress may set a cookie if you leave a comment or log in as an
administrator. No third-party analytics or advertising scripts are loaded.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry or seminar application
- To tell you about the seminar you asked about
- To keep the website secure and working
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not use it
for automated decision-making or profiling.
Who else sees it
Form submissions are delivered by email to PranDhyan and are handled by our
email provider. The website is hosted by a third-party hosting company whose
servers store the site files, database and access logs. These providers act on
our behalf and are not permitted to use your information for their own
purposes.
We may disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are retained only as long as needed to deal with your
enquiry and keep a reasonable record of correspondence. Server access logs are
rotated by the hosting provider on their normal schedule. Ask us to delete
your details at any time and we will.
Your rights
You may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct anything inaccurate
- delete your information
- stop using it for any purpose you have not agreed to
Write to [email protected] and we will respond within
a reasonable period. If you are in India, these rights sit alongside the
Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you are in the EEA or UK, they
sit alongside the GDPR.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect
information from anyone under 18. Seminars are open to those aged 18 and
over.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and access to the administration area is
restricted. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable
measures to protect the information you send us.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will appear on this page with a
new date at the top.
